Name: Tracie
Status: Happily married since 2001
Location: Though I currently live in New Orleans, I was born and raised just outside of
New Orleans in a town called Chalmette.
Children: I am the proud mother of two dogs and seven cats
Friends & family: Though I craft emotions into words, I can't express what my husband means to me. He's my best friend, confidant, lover, and sounding board. On the days I go insane, he's kind enough to go with me and pull me back to earth when I need it.
My friends are from all walks of life. I love them for the unique qualities they express and I'm fortunate to have them.
My family can drive me crazy at times, but that's what families are for.
I was raised well and I am lucky that my family taught me morals and showed me how to love and encouraged me to follow my dreams.
What I Do: After dropping out of college, I bounced around from soul crushing, mindless jobs until I went into business for myself.
I'm currently writing a book under contract about New Orleans Ghost History.
I also taught myself photoshop and I sell prints on DA as well as through art show.
Yes, I do commissions and custom digital art.
I also on occasion design websites.

Random: I love meeting people, as everyone has a story to tell and I want to hear them all!
My brain picks up the silliest things and I remember the oddest facts about people and I love making top 5 lists. I'm terrible with names, but never forget a face.
I am a bibliophile, but I detest audio books and I feel that listening to them will atrophy parts of my brain vital to writing.
I still write in my paper journal and I posses every one of my old journals from my past.
I hope to be cremated with these.
I have a penchant for haunting coffee houses, the French Quarter, libraries, book shops and thrift stores.
I live off of espresso, cigarettes, seafood, books, and good late night conversations.
I'm also a regular attender of Sci-Fi/Fantasy conventions such as Dragon Con and numerous smaller Conventions on the Gulf Coast and throughout Texas.
I have (so far) two tattoos and one piercing. My hair color is ever-changing. Sometimes it's a normal color, other times it's blue...sometimes bright red or purple. It depends on my mood. I have happily used Special Effects hair color for a while.
Hobbies:
DIY(Do It Yourself)
Not only does it look great when you're done, you have a chance to learn new skills and retain bragging rights.
Photography
I'm especially good at taking photos of people, though I have managed to take some nice shots of other things when the chance came.
Sketching
I'm not that good at it, but it's still a way to amuse myself when the mood strikes.
I love to cook, go to the gym and do hatha yoga, but I'm not really a big health nut.
HTML and running my website. I also host a podcast that's been on hiatus for a few months but it will be back up and running soon!
